Positioned between the SIDEWINDER 4 and MAMBA X, the COPPERHEAD 10 offers a perfect balance of performance and upgrade options in the 1:10 scale category. Packed with CRYO-DRIVE™ TECHNOLOGY, SENSORED MOTOR SUPPORT, and DATA LOGGING LITE*, it guarantees Castle's renowned reliability and performance.
Throughout rigorous testing in various elements, the Copperhead has proven its agility and versatility. Whether dominating the trails or tearing up the dirt track, it provides aggressive power when needed and delivers smooth low-end performance for precise low RPM maneuvers. Even with high-power servos or torque modifications, you can rely on the Copperhead to prevent brown-outs, glitches, or slow servo response. Its user-selectable internal BEC (5.5V or 7.5V, 6A peak) ensures consistent and clean power supply.
Installation and calibration are hassle-free, allowing you to hit the road immediately. With the interface-free manual programming mode, you can conveniently adjust settings such as low-voltage cutoff, brake/reverse type, brake amount, drag brake, motor type, and direction using your transmitter. Alternatively, you can utilize the Castle Link Programming Suite on your Windows PC (includes a coupon for a free USB adapter) or wirelessly through the new B-Link Bluetooth Adapter and Castle Link app for Android or iOS. Castle Link offers additional benefits, including access to firmware updates, additional feature sets, Data Log analysis, an Intuitive Demo Mode, and the option to save setup profiles for multiple vehicles.
For setups that don't require an ESC cooling fan, the fan can be easily removed using four screws, and the fan guard featuring the cool COPPERHEAD logo clicks back into place, providing both protection and a mean appearance. To ensure your investment stays safe, the COPPERHEAD emits audible alerts for quick diagnosis of common issues like motor-over-temperature and low-voltage cutoff. A handy decal with a reference chart for the eight alert tones is included, so you won't need to search online while enjoying your wheel time.
To simplify your brushless power upgrade, the COPPERHEAD 10 is bundled with a variety of 4-POLE 12-SLOT sensored motor options, eliminating the guesswork. Pairing your Copperhead with a Castle 4-Pole 12-Slot sensored motor enables SMARTSENSE™ TECHNOLOGY, delivering cog-free starts, impressive torque, and exceptional low-speed drivability. As the motor gains speed, the ESC seamlessly transitions to Castle's sensorless mode with automatic electronic timing adjustment for peak performance in all driving conditions.

Operating environment:
Waterproof design for all weather conditions. Although COPPERHEAD 10 is waterproof, it is not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. Always rinse the ESC and motor with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt. While the motor and controller may be waterproof, we suggest users confirm that the rest of their vehicle, including the batteries, servos, radio and chassis are also waterproof before exposing them to liquids of any kind.
**The cooling fan must be removed prior to driving in wet conditions. It is not waterproof.
